What we keep, and why

What we store

• From Discord when you sign in: your Discord user id, username, display name, avatar and the email address on your Discord account. We never see your Discord password, and we cannot read your Discord messages or servers.
• What you do here: your shelf, log, watchlist, ratings, reviews, lists, comments, follows, blocks, movie nights, RSVPs, votes and messages in movie-night threads.
• Basic technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept briefly to keep the site running and abuse-free.

What is public

Your profile, shelf, ratings, reviews, public lists and public movie nights are visible to anyone. Your watched log can be made private in settings. Your email address is never shown to other members.

Third parties

Film information is fetched from TMDB by our server; those requests do not include who you are. Public movie nights are posted to the ForeheadVCR Discord server by our bot with the night's title, film and time. We do not sell data, run ads, or use tracking pixels. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.

Deleting your membership

You can delete your membership from settings at any time. That removes your profile and everything you posted. Anonymous aggregate numbers (for example, a film's average rating) may remain.
